KUALA LUMPUR: Duopharma Biotech Bhd will invest $ 500,000 (RM 2.06 million) in a local digital health service provider through a Series A funding round to expand its smart integrated digital health applications.
The investment in Naluri Hidup Sdn Bhd, which is a local pioneer in digital therapy, follows Duopharma’s initial $ 250,000 investment in the company for a personalized digital holistic healthcare application.
Duopharma said in a statement that its investment, along with that of other international and local venture capital firms, will allow Naluri to expand its operations in the region and deepen its data science capabilities.
He added that the partnership will enable him to deliver evidence-based treatment interventions using Naluri’s digital therapy solution, designed to help people manage their risk of chronic disease through behavioral and psychological coaching programs. multidisciplinary structured.
According to Duopharma, the effective use of holistic therapies could double the effectiveness of healthcare compared to purely pharmacotherapeutic therapy (drugs
